Men Can't Take It
He said, "What am I looking for in a woman? Someone who isn't also dating 9 other people."
She said, "During the first three to six dates, it's important for a woman to be dating three men, not four, not two, but three men. Why? Because we already know who we want to marry on the first date, and while we wait for your catch up, we're just entertaining ourselves, passing the time. And there's always fall out and we do like to keep busy on Saturday nights. Of course, this doesn't mean we continue letting men spend money on us when we darn well know they haven't half the chance of bedding or wedding us. We give them three (3) dates too, because one never knows, and then release."
Traditionally, men have always dating more than one women, or dating one and looking at others. Why, because he wants social entertainment, and maybe not end up alone at 60. And like all well-balanced folk, he doesn't propose marriage before he meets her. Online profiles are notoriously deceptive. He likes her and wants to see her again. He calls her. And calls her again. There's a nice exchange. Ball's in the air.
Then another hottie comes along and BAM, he asks for her phone number, too, or finds himself flirting.
Hey! What happened to the first gal?
And so he starts to date both.
This is what men traditionally do, have done, and will not stop doing until the end of time.
And women better get smart at doing the same thing or else you'll spend countless nights along pining over someone who's pining over someone not you.
P.S. Dating, by the way, is defined as enjoying a meal, coffee or anything else outside the realm of nakedness.
